May 24--An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners Inc. in Boca Raton, a private investment firm, has acquired a majority controlling interest in International Bedding Corp. in Fort Lauderdale, Sun Capital announced Thursday.
International Bedding, which manufactures private label and limited distribution brand mattresses, has nine plants in seven states.
Neil Ellman, president of International Bedding, said the acquisition is a good fit because of Sun Capital's experience in the furniture industry, with ownership of Wickes Furniture, Nationwide Furniture, Lexington Home ...
