Third child dies from hand-foot-mouth disease in east China
Beijing, May 24 (PTI) The outbreak of hand-foot-mouth disease has claimed the life of a third child in east China's Shandong Province, the local health department said today.
The 11-month-old baby boy was admitted to Linyi People's Hospital early on Monday after developing symptoms of fever and a rash with blisters.
"His condition was stable on Monday, but suddenly worsened in the early hours on Tuesday," a senior health official said.
