Tuxedo Exec Harvey Weinstein
NEW YORK - Harvey Weinstein, former CEO of West Mills Clothing and survivor of a notorious kidnapping, died after a protracted illness on May 13. He was 82.
Known as the "tuxedo king," Weinstein is credited with helping develop the formalwear industry in the U.S. During his 24 years as CEO of the company, which manufactured tuxes for Ralph Lauren, Pierre Cardin and Robert Stock in addition to its own brand, Lord West, Weinstein grew West Mills into one of the top formalwear companies in the country.
