Byline: ANDY TOWNSEND
TWO years ago, with Liverpool trailing 3-0 at halftime, Rafa Benitez sent on Didi Hamann and won the European Cup.
Then, we rightly celebrated his tactical genius.
But this time Rafa got it wrong. Twice.
Milan were there for the taking in Athens. They were second best and didn't win with a glorious display of attacking might.
Filippo Inzaghi scored two goals but they were rocking at the back.
Liverpool's biggest problem now is what to do with their captain, Steven Gerrard. He should be to Benitez what Graeme Souness was to Bob Paisley and Liverpool should build their team around him.
