May 24--The roughly $7,000 gasoline card Charles Porter won from Rutter's Farm Store in August was supposed to last for three years.

But the retired Baltimore police officer from Stewartstown was generous.

Aside from spending the winnings on gas to fuel his daily trips to Baltimore, Porter allowed family members to fill up on his dime.

About two months ago, Porter used the last of the cash. "It went quick, and we all enjoyed it," he said.

Porter was one of three winners of Rutter's Farm Stores' "Fuel Up Free" gas promotion last year.
