May 26--Levi Rosser has made his own name as a steer wrestler in the California rodeo circuit, but when he comes to the Marysville Stampede that name takes on a much bigger meaning.
But the grandson of Hall of Fame promoter Cotton Rosser said he doesn't feel any more pressure just because the Stampede is the family's home rodeo.
"I don't think I feel any extra pressure because I always want to compete at the top of my abilities," said Rosser, who has been a top five bulldogger in the California circuit the last two years, and won the State Finals Rodeo in 2005. "But I don't want to let anyone down either."
