Article: Effects of two dietary approaches combined with exercise on lipid levels.

Abstract: Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of a high carbohydrate diet and a higher protein diet on lipid levels in young, normolipidemic, and previously sedentary participants. Methods: Ninety-seven sedentary participants who had been inactive for the previous three months were randomly assigned to one of four diet groups and followed recommended exercise prescriptions. Results: Significant differences were found between diet and HDL levels.
