May 28--ARLINGTON, Texas -- Did you see that catch Coco made?
A year ago, that phrase appeared in a NESN commercial -- ad nauseum -- hyping the solid play of the Red Sox in the first few weeks of the 2006 season.
It proved an empty slogan. Coco Crisp missed most of the season with an injury, and the team collapsed in the second half.
But Sunday, that question was the hot topic in the Red Sox clubhouse. Oh yeah, they saw that catch Coco made. Not only did it deny the Rangers a game-breaking hit, it inspired the Red Sox to come through, yet again, with a late-inning rally to rescue victory.
