May 29--GRAND PRAIRIE -- A sloppy track and a little more heart helped Bob and John change his luck in two-horse duels and capture the $400,000 Grade III Lone Star Park Handicap Monday.
Bob and John repelled the challenge of East Coast import Sweetnorthernsaint in the stretch to win by a quarter-length in the feature race of the ninth annual Lone Star Million Day.
In two prior races, Bob and John surrendered a lead in the stretch, most recently in the Texas Mile at Lone Star four weeks ago.
