EL PASO, Texas, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Hugh A. Shaffer, 48, has been named Vice President for El Paso Field Services Company (EPFS). Shaffer will be responsible for the Farmington Division, Permian/Anadarko Division, Field Services Engineering, and Operations Planning and Development. He will continue to report to Larry R. Tarver, Senior Vice President, Field Services.

Shaffer, who joined El Paso Natural Gas Company (NYSE: EPG) in 1980, has worked in various capacities both for EPG and EPFS. He received a bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y., and a master of science degree from the University of Texas at Austin. ...
