SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi) has been honored by PC World with a 100 Best Products of 2007 award. Hitachi's Deskstar 7K1000, the world's first one-terabyte (TB) hard drive, placed 20 out of 100 in the 100 Best Products listing and was the only hard drive represented on the list.
