FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Professionals, Inc. (AMEX: HPI) announced today that it has filed an answer disputing an action served January 28, 1995 by its landlord which seeks both to evict HPI from its executive offices and to accelerate future rent due in the approximate amount of $1.8 million, based on HPI's failure to pay the December 1994 and January 1995 rent when due. In its answer to the complaint filed yesterday, HPI asserts that it was in the process of negotiating certain disputed amounts claimed by the landlord when the suit was filed.
