May 29--A jury trial started last week in a lawsuit to determine whether a former Alamo man was required to disclose to the people who bought his house that he is a registered sex offender.

One area Realtor said the outcome of this trial could affect how home sellers approach such disclosures.

"This is something that might change us," said Lisa Crosby-Torres, manager of Alain Pinel Realtors' Blackhawk office, during testimony Thursday in a Martinez courtroom.

The case involves an Alamo house that Alfred Giusti, 50, of Danville sold to Daniel Diaz and Patricia Ocegura-Diaz, for $1.18 million in December 2005. Drexel ...
