CHICAGO -- Fitch Ratings has affirmed the 'BBB' rating of PPL Montana, LLC's (PPLM) pass-through trust certificates due 2020. The rating is based on PPLM's long-term financial profile. Price volatility in the electricity market remains the primary risk factor. PPLM continues to demonstrate strong financial performance in a challenging regulatory environment, and Fitch expects fixed charge coverage ratios to exceed 3.0 times (x) over the long term as originally projected.
