Bored by backyard burgers and steaks?
With a little imagination you can grill just about anything this summer - from fruit to nuts.
"Keep the `wow' factor high and the degree of difficulty low," advises Chris Schlesinger, owner of East Coast Grill & Raw Bar in Cambridge and author of "The Thrill of the Grill." He's partial to grilled figs as an easy, impress-your-guests treat.
Such culinary grill surprises are "not rocket science," says chef Andy Husbands of Tremont 647. You don't need to be a pro to obtain restaurant results on your backyard barbie - all you need is a sense of adventure and pair of tongs.
