OAKLAND, Calif. -- Scientific Learning (NASDAQ:SCIL) today announced a major milestone in its eleven-year history: the millionth usage of its neuroscience-based Fast ForWord reading intervention software for grades K-12.
Since its first implementation in 1997, usage of Fast ForWord software has grown dramatically in schools around the world. According to Jane A. Freeman, Scientific Learning's Chief Financial Officer, "This is a great achievement.
