White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski was booed during pregame announcements Tuesday night, whenever he batted and even when he caught Jason Kubel's foul pop in the fifth inning.
All this after Pierzynski stepped on Justin Morneau's foot while running to first base the night before, which fired up the Twins dugout and led to a heated exchange between manager Ron Gardenhire and the umpires.
The only thing that carried over one day later was the Twins' offense and Chicago's inability to stop it, as the Twins won 9-2 at the Metrodome. The Twins have scored 19 runs on 32 hits in the two games. The run support was plenty enough ...
