May 29--KOLKATA, India -- It's home to the famed Kafue National Park -- one of the world's largest protected game reserves that is twice the size of the Yellowstone. No, this isn't really about Zambia's wilds. It's about Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Communications' silent telecom explorations in Zambia.
Word is that the Reliance Communications (RCOM) top brass is in talks with senior officials in the Zambian government to acquire an international mobile telephony licence in Zambia. RCOM is also slated to apprise the department of telecommunications (DoT) in this light.
