CINCINNATI, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The Midland Company (AMEX: MLA) today reported net income for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 1994 of $5,244,000, $1.72 per common share, compared to $2,645,000, $.87 per common share, for the fourth quarter of 1993. Revenues for the fourth quarter of 1994 were $86,472,000 compared to $70,848,000 in 1993. Net income for 1994 was $9,419,000, $3.09 per common share, on revenues of $315,915,000. Net income for 1993 before cumulative effect of accounting change was $13,105,000, $4.27 per common share, and net income after cumulative effect of accounting change was $17,972,000, $5.85 per common share, on revenues of $267,667,000.
