Two tables can be better than one, especially for flexibility in holiday entertaining
THE FLEXIBLE, EXPANDABLE dining table has been rethought by San Francisco architect Heidi Richardson. For clients who entertain a lot during the holidays, Richardson designed two half-round tables that fit against a wall for large gatherings. The buffet meal goes on one table, the drinks on the other. When pushed together, the two half-rounds form a single 6-foot-diameter table that seats eight for more intimate meals.
