SFDA calls for adherence to new drug labeling laws
Shanghai. June 1. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's State Food and Drug Administration has issued a reminder that new food and drug labeling and packaging laws came into effect today.
Under the Drug Introduction and Labeling Managing Methods, set by the State Food and Drug Administration, the generic name of a drug must be marked clearly on the packaging and each character of the brand name should be no bigger than half of the size of the Chinese characters used to print the generic name of the drug.
