Jun. 1--Lori Coulter is making a splash in the swimsuit industry.
Indeed, the 32-year-old Clayton entrepreneur, who developed a unique way of making individualized swimsuits using a body scanner, has persuaded Macy's to take the plunge. The giant retailer is devoting boutique space to the Lori Coulter TrueMeasure swimwear system in its Westfield Chesterfield mall and an Indianapolis mall.
Coulter thanks her mother's shopping woes for her inspiration. Coulter was working on her master's in business administration at Washington University when her mother complained about the difficulty of finding a swimsuit.
