Article: NAFTA and African-American employment in the United States. (North American Free Trade Agreement) (Symposium: International Business)

On December 17, 1992, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was signed by the Presidents of Mexico and the United States, and the Prime Minister of Canada. Over a ten year period, the agreement will essentially abolish tariffs, import fees, and quantitative import restrictions among the signatories.
