Democrats attack Bush on global warming, climate change
Washington, Jun 3 (PTI) Slamming the Bush administration for not having done anything in the last six years on global warming and climate change, a top Democrat lawmaker has said that if the United States does not limit its own pollution, India and China will not draw up plans to limit theirs.
"The US has a special responsibility to lead. China and India must participate, as well. But if we don't limit our own pollution, China or India will not develop plans to limit theirs," Ed Markey, lawmaker in the House of Representatives, said yesterday.
