MILWAUKEE -- It's hard to get Milwaukee manager Ned Yost to consider anything but the task at hand. But like baseball people everywhere, Yost checks the National League Central standings every day, and he doesn't need bloggers, talk-show hosts or wise-guy beat writers to interpret them for him.
"I can't explain it," Yost said this week. "If you have a .500 week, you're jumping up and down."
By almost all accounts, the once powerful NL Central is now the weakest division in baseball.
