NEW YORK, June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GFI Group Inc. reported today that it has terminated its agreement to acquire the assets of the retail energy procurement and consulting business of GSE Consulting L.P., an affiliate of Gulf States Energy, which was announced on April 26, 2007. No other information was disclosed and GFI said that it would have no further comment on the matter at this time.
