Jun. 5--June has been designated Lane Courtesy Month by the National Motorists Association.

No, it doesn't mean this is the month the Cubs and Sox step aside so everyone else can pass them in the standings -- that's July.

Lane courtesy is a politically correct way of asking folks who put their cruise control on 55 m.p.h. and doze off for 30 miles -- or three states -- in the passing lane to move to the right and let the rest of the world pass.
