Jun. 6--The 2007 UA baseball team was supposed to be a year away from making a splash nationally.
The Wildcats could not wait that long.
This season's team finished 42-17, placed second in the Pac-10 and was a victory away from playing in a super regional. Arizona's NCAA tournament run ended with a 3-0 loss to Wichita State on Monday night in Wichita, Kan.
