Increasing numbers of Welsh schools are ditching their school ties as they follow the open-shirted lead of the likes of Tory leader David Cameron, below.
In a new twist on the phrase "old school tie" the traditional neckwear is losing out to more contemporary alternatives such as the polo shirts, according to school outfitters across the nation.
But while the change reflects the more relaxed dress codes in professional circles, concerns were raised yesterday about the impression youngsters will make in job interviews if they do ...
