The board of directors of a Salt Lake company, OCIS Corp., will vote today on whether to approve an agreement on a reverse merger that will allow Ecology Coatings Inc., a Bloomfield Hills-based nanotech company, to go public.
Approval is expected to be a formality. If granted, Rich Stromback, Ecology Coatings' chairman and largest shareholder, expects approval by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for it to begin trading by the end of June under a symbol yet to be determined.
OCIS currently is a shell company. It had sold industrial racks and related equipment but ceased operations more than two years ago. It ...
