Modern laptop computers can match desktop machines feature for feature
Recent laptop developments have outstripped even the accelerated pace of desktop improvements. Today's notebooks can do virtually everything that full-sized micros do.
With laptop motherboards and components increasingly designed to operate at 3.3 volts instead of the normal 5 volts, a notebook's battery can last eight or nine hours on some models, more than adequate for even the longest domestic or international flights.
