LOS ANGELES--Cecil Saydah Co. has acquired Matrix Tufting, a Chatsworth, Ga.-based producer of cotton and olefin tufted rugs.
"Due to high demand for product in the rug category, it was necessary to vertically integrate our operation," says Frank Fijal, general manager of Cecil Saydah. "We are committed to this category and want to be able to control the product's tufting, cutting, printing and sewing. The acquistion of Matrix will allow us to maintain our high quality standards, our commitment to on-time deliveries and our competitive pricing."
