Jun. 7--Forks Township's supervisors and Planning Commission have started working on updating the comprehensive plan that was adopted a decade ago.
Commission Chairman Erik Chuss said residents are being invited to volunteer on four committees being formed to off and examine ideas for the township's future.
These committees will be Transportation; Economic Development; Recreation; and Agricultural/Open Space Preservation/Architectural Review.
A workshop will be held by the commission at 7 p.m. June 26 at the Municipal Building for those who volunteer. "We strongly encourage any township resident who would ...
