Jun. 9--When was the last time you actually dotted an i?
In a time when Black-Berries do not grow on trees and notebooks are not made of paper, students are forgoing pens for keyboards, writing by hand less and less and almost never in cursive.
And it is a trend schools are not going to fight.
"We certainly live in a computerized world," said Marsha Pugh, instruction and curriculum supervisor for the Walton County School District. "Children at younger and younger ages are keyboarding, and they are getting instruction in keyboarding very early in their lives."
