Jun. 10--They shared a mound Saturday and used to share a clubhouse, but Dan Haren and Barry Zito were in completely different universes Saturday.
Haren continued to flourish in fun-happy-loose A's land, wiping out the Giants in seven scoreless innings with a confident strut and darting splitter.
Meanwhile, Zito lingered in the somber-hushed-dull Giants Dimension, laboring through four-plus painful innings against the scrappier A's lineup on the way to a dominant 6-0 A's victory at AT&T Park.
Then Zito, being the smart guy that he is, wondered out loud what happened to all the fun he used to have.
