ORLANDO, Fla. _ Wesley Snipes, facing federal tax-evasion and conspiracy charges, has filed papers to dismiss the indictments, citing _ among other issues _ that he was singled out for prosecution because of his race.
Among the eight charges Snipes faces are six counts of failure to file tax returns. His motion to dismiss, filed last week, argues that two other defendants charged in the indictment also failed to file returns but were not charged with that offense.
