Jun. 10--The Niagara Wine Trail is growing so fast it's getting too big for its branches.
The original trail has been split into two -- one stretching across the middle of Niagara County and the other running up the spine of the county and cutting east along Lake Ontario.
What began in Cambria five years ago with two wineries has spread its roots throughout Niagara County, and beyond, to 10 wineries.
Another 11 wineries are in the development stage, including Arrowhead Springs Winery, scheduled to open in the fall, said Michael Von- Heckler, the first president of the Niagara Wine Trail and owner of Warm Lake ...
