Jun. 10--Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews has played trumpet and trombone with Ellis Marsalis, Lenny Kravitz, Dr. John, and U2 and Green Day.
He's as likely to play a jazz-funk version of AC/DC's "Back in Black" on trombone as pick up the trumpet for a Louis Armstrong-style version of "When the Saints Go Marching In."
That's a broad musical palette for the fast-rising jazz star from New Orleans, who will be featured at the 2007 Art Tatum Jazz Heritage Festival in International Park.
