NASSAU, The Bahamas, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Departments of State and Homeland Security recently issued an update on the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative which states "under the revised procedures, U.S. citizens will be permitted to fly to and from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda without a passport as long as they can show proof that they have applied for one."
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism would like to clarify that although the country is not geographically located in The Caribbean Sea (the country is actually in the Western Atlantic Ocean), the popular vacation destination is considered to be part of "The Caribbean" in general travel ...
