WALKING is tiring work, but seven-year-old Ellis Winsper knows it has its benefits.
He was one of the Banners Gate Infant and Nursery School pupils who did a sponsored walk as part of the school's healthy lifestyle programme.
Ellis says: "We walked a long way and it was tiring but we had an ice cream at the end," he says.
"I like walking. It is fun when it is a sunny day and you can walk somewhere like the shops. And it makes you healthy.
"Sport is good for you. If you don't do lots of sport, you won't get lots of muscles. I like tennis, football and golf.
"And you need to eat healthy food because then you will have good bones ...
