WHEN FATHER MARCO VALENTINI, on March 2, 2006, rose to ask his bishop a question, he may not have expected the answer he received. The 39-year-old priest told his bishop, and the other assembled priests of his diocese, that he had recent and positive experience of the ministry of women--both married and religious--to priests in crisis.
