Online shopping sites of the week: Threadless (threadless.com) and Naked & Angry (nakedandangry.com)
The fashion world can best be described as an oligopoly, ruled by the design houses telling us what's hip and trendy. But fashion democracy reigns supreme on Web sites Threadless.com and NakedandAngry.com.
Threadless, launched in 2000, allows users to submit original designs for T-shirts. Other shoppers then vote for their favorites. Winners not only receive a cash prize, but also get to see their creation come to life on a shirt. The best part: The original T's are only $15.
