Jun. 12--Northwest Indiana entrepreneur Don Burrell is newly out of retirement, and ready to get back into the photography business.
Burrell recently purchased Burrell Professional Labs, part of a nationwide chain of photo labs he started 48 years ago, in his Gary basement.
Burrell decided to repurchase the labs from Rochester-based Jasco for an undisclosed amount after first selling it to Eastman Kodak Co. for $62 million in 2003.
After purchasing BPL, Kodak officials stated their intentions to sell the photo lab chain to Jasco, for an undisclosed amount.
