I am pleased to welcome Dr. Ian D. Moore of Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, as Editor of the Canadian Geotechnical Journal. Dr. Moore is Professor and Canada Research Chair in Infrastructure Engineering and Executive Director of the GeoEngineering Centre at Queen's. He is a civil engineer specializing in geotechnical engineering, engineering mechanics, nonlinear soil--structure interaction, and analysis and design of buried infrastructure, polymer structures, and shell structures.
