COLUMBIA, S.C., June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Companion Data Services, LLC (CDS) announced today it had launched data center operations to support Medicare claims processing under Medicare's Enterprise Data Center initiative, ushering in a new era of modernization and efficiency for claims processing.
CDS' Columbia data center successfully transitioned the first Enterprise Data Center workloads and is now hosting applications used to process Medicare claims in the states of Arkansas, Alaska, Washington, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Oregon. CDS has begun the process of transitioning workloads to support Medicare claims processing in 17 additional states.
