HONOLULU -- Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (NYSE:HE) announced that Richard W. Gushman, II has been appointed to its board of directors effective June 12, 2007.
Mr. Gushman presently serves as the sole owner and president of the DGM Group, a Hawaii corporation, which over the last 34 years has been involved in real estate projects in Hawaii, Texas, Arizona, Washington, California, Guam, and Singapore, valued at more than $2 billion. Mr. Gushman has twice been recognized by the Hawaii Chapter of the National Association of Industrial Office Properties, with its Lifetime Achievement award - first in 2004 and most recently in 2007 as one of four trustees of The ...
