Jun. 13--CALHOUN -- Main Street in Calhoun has been flooded with memories this week.
The nostalgia streamed into the city as demolition began on three historic buildings at the end of Main Street along the Green River.
First Security Bank of Kentucky purchased the three buildings and will build a new bank on the lot.
When the heavy equipment began taking bites out of the Victory Theatre on Monday night, residents lined the sidewalks swapping stories of watching movie matinees, dancing to the jukebox music in the back of Wilhite's Cafe in the 1950s and anticipating the new line of Ford vehicles at Holder Motor Co.
