Advanced machine tools, such as multifunction machines, now have NX 5, which provides a complete solution with Machine Tool Support Kits. NX5 is not just the post processor; it is also a 3-D solids assembly model of the machine tool, a G-code simulation driver, standard machining operation templates, example parts, and, of course, documentation. To make all of this easy to set up, UGS provides an automated install script as a part of the kit.
