I think I'm in love with a hotel bar. Is that weird?
It's just that when I'm drinking, I like to stretch, unwind, lay out even. Bank, located in the new Westin Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, is big. Really big. It also has good drinks, a friendly staff and amazing digs.
Still, it feels undiscovered. Since opening in early May, it hasn't gotten the attention that the Chambers did last year. Bank deserves a look - and you'll definitely be gawking. The hotel used to be the Farmers & Mechanics Bank, built in 1941 and now on the National Register of Historic Places. The bank floor now houses the restaurant/bar, and ...
