Jun. 14--A father and son who ran tow companies in Hollister were arrested Wednesday for allegedly exploiting the small-claims court system to force unsuspecting motorists into paying bogus tow, storage and lien sale fees.
Paul S. Greer, who lives in the Fresno area and ran the defunct B&C Towing, faces more than 40 felony counts including multiple counts of attempted grand theft, perjury and conspiracy. Greer faces more than 29 years in prison, said Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Dale Lohman.
Greer's father, Vincent Cardinalli Sr., who runs A&R Associates, a towing company, also faces an array of charges ...
